‘Open the Curtains’ blog.

Here, Phil will regularly offer his thoughts on themes arising from the narrative in this book, such as: life, and personal, development, our place in nature, the power of landscape, spirituality and the search for meaning, gender and male self-expression and identity.
Phil will also link these themes to contemporary developments, linking the above and other themes to relevant social and political concerns and developments such as: mental and physical health, ecological issues, and cultural identity and relations. His professional experience and interest in education – from schooling and special educational needs to higher education – and in psychotherapy and counselling theory, practice and training, will also be reflected and intersect with the above themes. Wrapped around these interests and themes is Phil’s well-developed thinking within a broadly Jungian, Trans-personal and Humanistic framework; advocating a Holistic approach to applying relational and spiritual values to the promotion of ethical mindfulness, social justice and a contemporary urban-to-rural rootedness in nature
